Patapain

In Canada we have McDonald's and Tim Horton's.  In France we have Patapain, which really is Pâte à pain, meaning bread dough.

The selections are multiple, something for every taste, but nothing fried or greasy.

I love the chicken, tomatoes, lettuce and cheese on a poppy seed baguette.

Karl goes for the strawberry tarts.

You can pick up your croissants, pain au chocolat, or pain aux raisins for tomorrow morning's petit déjeuner.

And then there are the really rich donuts and cream pastries, but dare I say better than Tim's?

It just wouldn't be a complete and fun place unless there was a play centre for the kids.  Who wouldn't want to jump under this giant and really tall giraffe!

And so it is that we stopped for a quick bite and discovered a healthy alternative to a Big Mac.
